Tumblr

I recently made a Tumblr account to see what all the fuss was about, and it actually is pretty cool. I am a tad confused as to exactly what the platform is supposed to be? I guess it's a combination of a blog, a place to post or re-post pictures, and a few other options. Not bad ! :)

Wanna see my Tumblr? And all the other pretty cool people I follow? :

I said I'd Consider, I didn't say I wouldn't...

Here's a few Sweet treats!

These Tennis Shoes Sure are cute, and would be a fun sunny day craft!

How Cool are these bottle cap pins? I think I am going to make some of these for my Hubby & I!

This Dress is to die for, I wish I had the upper body to own it the way this lady does!

Can I have this Kitchen?! I promise I will keep it clean, and love it forever..
Im Serious, though, this kitchen is kind of a dream! But I'll take turquoise instead ;)

A few fun Kitsch Designs

I was checking out some Kitsch Art & stumbled upon these pretty furniture print designs:

Dinner

Tonight's Dinner Consisted of:

  • Trader Joe's Boxed Frozen Jasmine Rice
  • Trader Joe's Frozen Chicken Breasts
  • Frozen Peas'
  • Sliced Baby Carrots &
  • Veri Veri Teriyaki Sauce
So sounds pretty plain right?, well it is. There isn't nearly enough vegetables to even consider it being close to a proper Teriyaki Bowl, BUT to make up for the taste, I added just a teeny bit more of that amazing Teriyaki Sauce! When I was packing all my "fresh food" and milk, I forgot to pack my frozen mix veggies! So Spencer has a mini list of things to pick up at home when he goes to feed Suki after work!
As I was cooking, I waited to post this so I could get some feedback on the bare Teriyaki Bowls, and turns out they were a hit! I love being able to whip up something filling and yummy within 10 minutes, even with little ingredients--makes me feel like an experienced Chef!--Or something along the lines of..

Away From Home..

On Friday March, 16th;
We were asked to stay and watch over our parent's house, and our little sis Audrey. They told us they would be gone a week, and left a note hurriedly scribbled on a scrap envelope.. Dad's # *in case we got a concussion* and with that they were gone. SO the house, Jacuzzi, and King-Cal Bed is ours! Along with that comes some tedious house cleaning though, as this house is HUGE! But bright side is, I get to use the Mac, which works..I'm enjoying actually being able to post to my blog! I will have some pictures posted this weekend; as I made sure to bring my camera!
Hope everyone had a GREAT St. Patty's Day! I envy you all who got to enjoy some yummy green beer, hope everyone made it home safely; and didn't drive! Our kitty Karma got neutered and Micro-Chipped yesterday, so I was busy registering him online when we got home. Time went by very fast for us staying in, after it stopped raining the Hubby and I decided to jump in the Jacuzzi for some wind down time, and hopped in bed.

Today we just lazed around the house, We went to Dairy Queen and got blizzard's, I tried the Pecan Cluster, while Spencer tried the Snickers. Was alright, a new treat as I always get my favorite-Cookie Dough! Ending the night with some Yummy Teryaki Bowls, and watching the Jackass Movies Hope everyones night is cozy and warm! Get that much needed rest before the hustle and bustle of work week!

Homemade Berry Smoothies

    Lately,
I've been on this diet, eat healthy and exercise as much as possible routine.. I must say I have been feeling really good (besides the pain from exercising). The best part of the healthy eating though for me is the homemade fruit smoothies! As yummy as they are...they are just as nutritious and each single fruit does it's own  to help nurture and energize your body. Take for instance;
Strawberries Support:  Eyesight -Health,Brain Stimulation,Circulation,Heart Health
Oranges Support: The Fight Of Cancer,Heart Health,Circulation,Skin Health
Peaches Support: Eyesight Health,Heart Health,Improved Digestion,Kidney Function
Bananas Support: Improved Mood,Stress Relief,Healthy Blood Pressure Levels
Pineapples Support: Circulation,Tissue Repair,Immune System,Memory Function
Blueberries Support: Improved Mood,Eyesight Health,Stress Relief,Circulation
Raspberries Support: Improved Mood,Eyesight Health,Stress Relief
Papayas Support: Cardiovascular Function,Immune System,Heart Health
Coconuts Support: Kidney Function,Muscle Growth
That's not even half of the fruit out there either! Anyway's they are yummy for breakfast, or a yummy treat and they are easy to make. As long as you have a blender! Here are a few combinations that I thought out, and tried. They were really yummy...3 of them *will highlight her Name* came from a friend. And I am sure they are delicious. Hope you Enjoy!
1.  Strawberries,
     Peaches,
     Blackberries,
     100% Simply Pure Orange Juice,
     Almond Silk,
     Ice

2. Bananas,
    Strawberries,
    Peaches,
    100% Simply Pure Orange Juice,
    Almond Silk,
    Ice

3. Kiwi,
    Strawberries,
    Blackberries,
    100% Simply Pure Orange Juice
    Almond Silk

These 2 flavor combos are from a friend, whose name is Nickie Stemp. She's an incredible tattoo artist, from England. But she currently resides in Canada.

1. Pineapple,
    Banana,
    Mango,
    Almond Breeze
   Hemp Hearts (For Protein)

2. 100% Simply Pure Orange Juice
Part Organic Sweet Apple Cider, Non-Pasteurized
Berries; Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries...to sweeten your smoothies use some natural sweetner, or syrup. Adjust the sweetness and the protein's to your liking.

Our New Addition..!

So, Today was quite an eventful day, not to mention absolutely beautiful weather! Spending a happy Saturday with My Hubby is a perfect way to spend a Saturday. We woke up quite early, considering it is the weekend, but we were both pretty energetic, so we decided to get a smoothie and pop a "One A Day: Energy Pill", and plan out our day. By the time we got our smoothies, it was already almost 1:00 in the afternoon, so we we decided to go to the pet store and get some rats, to feed the serpents. Getting rats turned into a "fun-filled fish adventure"! Meaning we were in the pet store for about an hour ogling the little fishes, deciding on whether or not to buy any. ;) After a little bit of convincing I got Spencer to say sure, we'll get a fish! Woohoo! We spent another 20 minutes than decided to just go get some lunch, and take a look at the other pet shop later on.
We decided to go to California Chicken Cafe, which was SO packed, you couldn't stand in one spot for more than a few seconds without finding yourself in someone else's way! BUT the food was totally worth it, I got a yummy Ceaser Wrap on wheat, which was filling but really good. Spencer got some sort of oriental wrap, which he seemed to enjoy immensely. We were finally on our way to the pet store when we found ourselves at a Tropical Fish Store (now this was more like it). After some looking and going back and forth for a bit we finally decided on an adorable little white and pale yellow Koi fish. We haven't named the little thing yet, but soon the little Koi will be named.
Anyone have any suggestions?! Comment Below!

The Bells..

Today is My first official Start of the Honey Pixie Blogpost. I'm really excited to start the blogging adventure, even though I am a newbie..I feel it should be quite the interesting adventure! Hopefully I get the hang of it fast, and find some more pointer tips-and fast!
I am aiming to start a small business one day. Although in what field I am unsure. I LOVE baking. absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I think opening up a bakery & an online Etsy shop for accessories, and everything from here to the Moon you need for baking..that being said...that's just one idea.
I am a NUT for Homemade Bath&Body & Beauty Products.
Anyway's that being said, My Husband's name is Spencer. He's a hoot, I love him dearly. Together we have 2 snakes Vlad and Meena, which are both Red Tail Boa's. Vlad is a Colombian, and Meena is a Peruvian. We've got two Kitties, both black and almost identical. Everyone thinks they are, but being the owners I guess it's  easy for us to tell 'em apart! Karma is the male, and Pixie is the female. We don't have much, both  making it on our own in this big city..but our love, positive thoughts..and creativity are all we need to keep it together.
Spencer and I have been together for just over a year. May 31st will actually be 2 years! And we are already Married!! We both are kind of into the same things, he's a bit more politically correct and such than I am...and a bit more on the serious side...but still a lovable goofball..and I am- all over the place? Ha! Best way for me to describe myself...kind of sad..but easiest definition. You will see it all on here if you so choose to follow! I hope you've enjoyed this little tidbit..not the best intro but it's all you need! Have a good one!
